Dr. Jennifer Schmidt received her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Family Medicine residency at Mac Neal Hospital in Berwyn, IL, an affiliate of Rush Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Schmidt practiced Family Medicine in Cary for 10 years before receiving training in medical weight loss. As a Family Medicine doctor, she recognizes the importance of weight loss to prevent and treat diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea and many others.
